Cold temperatures?
I've been wishing forever for an outdoor z-wave temperature sensor that can withstand cold temperatures, and am wondering if Strips is my answer. I monitor a home in the Adirondacks with a ZWave system, where it can get very cold some winters, reaching -20F on occasion.
The lower range for the Strips that I saw is -4F. My question is: does this limit represent the lowest temperature at which the device will be accurate, or the temperature beyond which it can become permanently damaged? If the former, I can live with it, even if it means the battery will need to be replaced more often.

Hey Joseph,
The sensor will operate in temperatures below -4, however the biggest impact is on the battery, it will not break physically in those temperatures, give it a shot and if that ends up happening where it gets damaged physically we will of course replace it.
let us know if you have any more questions.
